Looks like Norbert Leo Butz will go girl-crazy at 54 Below well into the summer. The two-time Tony winner has extended his latest show Girls, Girls, Girls, adding four new dates in July. Butz takes the stage at the Midtown nightclub June 21, 22, July 6, 8, 10 and 19.
Butz brand new show explores the female—both the mythic & the contemporary. Inspired by the women in his life, this thought-provoking show connects women from Greek and Roman mythology to modern day pop songs about women. Fans can look forward to songs ranging from Elvis Costello to Frank Sinatra to the Flaming Lips.
Butz returns to Broadway this fall in the Andrew Lippa musical Big Fish. He won Tony Awards for his performances in the musicals Catch Me If You Can and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. His memorable Broadway credits also include Wicked, Rent, Is He Dead?, Enron, Dead Accounts and Thou Shalt Not. Off-Broadway, he appeared in The Last Five Years, How I Learned to Drive, Fifty Words, Saved and Juno and the Paycock. His last 54 Below concert Memory and Mayhem was recorded and released as a solo album.
